Hi, I’m Rita Curtis, PCC - a leadership coach, mentor, and educator who helps people understand themselves more deeply and lead others more intentionally. I believe who you are shapes how you lead, and that meaningful growth begins with understanding your values, recognizing your patterns, and choosing how you want to show up.

Before stepping fully into coaching, I spent more than 15 years in corporate leadership, training, and development. That experience taught me to look beyond individual performance and consider the whole story: the people, the pressures, the relationships, and the culture surrounding them. Across industries and roles, one thing has remained true: people thrive when they feel safe, seen, and supported—and have the clarity and tools to move forward.

I hold a Master’s degree in Leadership and Management (MSML) and am a Professional Certified Coach (PCC), with training in leadership, family systems, and holistic coaching. I’m the Founder of Above the Line Academy and Above Coaching, where I serve as Director of Education.

My work blends structure and soul, bringing practical tools, honest conversation, and compassionate curiosity to the challenges people face. Clients often describe me as heart-led, grounded, and gently powerful. I help them recognize what keeps repeating, navigate difficult conversations, and turn insight into meaningful action.

Hi, I’m Dave Sprouse, a leadership mentor, educator, and coach dedicated to helping individuals unlock their true potential and step into the best version of themselves. I believe that sustainable growth happens when personal purpose aligns with practical leadership, and that real empowerment begins by recognizing the strengths already within you.

Before stepping into my role at Above the Line Academy, I spent over two decades developing, leading, training, and mentoring individuals and teams across hospitality, retail, and sales. My background spans from guiding frontline team members to coaching experienced leaders, and what has remained constant across every environment is this: when people are given the tools, trust, and encouragement to grow, extraordinary results naturally follow.

As the Director of Organizational Development at Above the Line Academy, I bring more than 20 years of hands-on leadership experience to our programs and community. My approach blends real-world operational insight with intentional mentorship, creating practical, human-centered pathways that help leaders and organizations thrive.
